SENIOR YEAR

SMKAKA GLORIOUS 2010 : MY SENIOR YEAR
This is it, my final year of senior high school. The BIG THING about this year is that this is the year everyone in school look forward to. The leaders, I am one of them, are said to be the best after 5 years of downturn.
Well, personally I am not much of a leader myself, but my teachers = {Mr Mat Lazim, Mrs Rokiah, Miss Noorhayati, etc..} are all looking up to my vision of succession... It's quite a drag... my friends like Siti Nur Fatin Athirah, Tengku Fatimah Azzahra, Nurul Islah, and Hamizah are always looking for an opportunity to talk me in to being a Naqib. It is touching.. I'm honestly not into all this leadership stuff anymore... But for my friends' sake, I'll do my best...

I dreamed a dream last night, I won a marathon. a very real-like dream. tiring.. but a good one. It made me think of going into sports... because I had a similar dream a few days earlier.  After all, I am a tennis player. All I need is to pursue on my beginner's career. Well, that's a thought...

About SPM, damn, I don't know, I guess I should give it a go. Somehow it doesn't seem like I care about it any more than I used to... scary.. well, I can make myself to score an A+ in English, Physics, and Maths... But I'll need to stay tormented if I'm ever going to score even an A- in Add Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and History...

But it's okay, I guess... I need a New Year Resolution, and I've come up with one..

1. ...
2. ...
3. ...

ooh, I think that's good enough. I can't plan my year, so I'll leave it in up to my future self to decide what to do that time.

SAYONARA 2009!!

GOODBYE 2009..
The fact that 2009 has come to an end is clear...
The good times rush by... and the bad ones... uuh... it seems like I've had a great year. Really, my friends, my family and my days throughout this year have all been awesome, especially the guys I met at Johore.. I haven't get time to thank you all properly.. Thank you.

all the hardships that we've been through, all those loved ones gone forever, all the tears dropped, tears of joy, tears of sorrow, and all the moments that we'll all cherish... shine a light for every love that has been with us so strong.

Teacher Zatil Syarafina...
Goodbye, I do hope that you'll lead yourself to a happy life. I'm always behind you, supporting. Have a wonderful future in Melaka, and get married a.s.a.p... I'll get married with my dear Efa soon enough... Remember the times when you were in KAKA, as a teacher, and way back beyond.. If anything happens to you, let me know... I'll be at my best to help you out..

And to all my friends of RIMUP, let us all do our best in making more friends.. Spreading love all over the country. Our beloved Malaysia.

One day, we will look back to all of our efforts this year and say, "I wish that I've done more...".
We'll all be moving forward.. cherishing every moment we've had together.
As for Siti Sarah,

I would never have been the person I am without you... as for the times we've had together, thank you very much.. You know, all this time, you're amongst the five girls that I approved for. I you need any assistance, just let me know.. Just to show you my appreciation towards all we've been through. But time has chosen me to fall in love with the first girl that have ever caught me off guard, Nurul Afifah. And for now, I'm really happy.

My comrade, Syed Muhammad Khairi, you're the one that brought me closer to everyone in our dormitri. Thanks. I hope you continue on your pursue as a photographer.

Muhammad Nazir, it been good knowing you...

Wan Muhammad Anwar Taufeek, I'm actually okay having you around.. I just don't really know how to conjure a conversation.

I'm sorry..

I wish to start a new year with all the good stuff coming to us all.
Well, I only specialize in tennis, English and physics, so..
Everyone, once again...
Yoroshiku onegaishimasu..
I'll be as wild as ever next year...
Let's all do our best for The Greater Good.

PMR Payday...

MAJLIS PENYERAHAN PINGAT EMAS & HADIAH KECEMERLANGAN PELAJAR KALI KE-30

December 24th, 2009. At around 6 a.m. that morning I woke up hurriedly to get ready for this ceremony...
This is it. The day where my hardworks in 2008 pays off. And by that I mean PAID. Hah! I wore my best outfits to meet the Chief Minister of Terengganu.
There were two others of my friends who showed up for the event. Muniera, my dear friend, almost like a sister to me. I call her Kak Moon. The other one is Muhammad Aiman Fajri, well, I got along with him better just by the end of 2009's school sessions.

After quite a while of listening to the Chief Minister's speech, it's time!!
Of course, there's a long queue ahead.
Waiting... and more waiting...

until it's my turn.. the excitement was overdoing me...

I felt it. The pride of my parents, engraved into my heart... forever...

As for myself, this is just the beginning of a new era...

BEST CLASS OF 2009!

THE FIVE BOYS OF MB5

not in the picture: Muhammad Shahrir
2009 is coming to an end, I've only got one photo of the boys of my class...
introducing the MB5's 5.

Muhammad Shahrir Ashraf: *not in the picture*
Lively, spirited, humble, smart. My best companion in class.
If you're going to judge him by his looks, you're really going to regret it. Though he is the shortest, I'd reckon that he is the strongest in my class. One of the school's librarian. Surely, he is a great friend.

Syed Muhammad Khairi: Photographer, smart, neat, cheerful. He's got a funny sense of humor though. The lead computer graphics' specialist in school, a prefect, the main candidate for Head Boy in 2010. Possibly the most popular boy in the Upper Secondary half of SMKAKA.
Wan Muhammad Anwar Taufeek: Syed's best friend, desk partner. Silent, cool, cold. A veteran member of the SMKAKA Student's Council. A mysterious character in the eyes of the girls of 4MB5.

Muhammad Nazir: Possibly the most popular boy in the Boy's Hostel. The Vice-captain of the Hostel Prefect's Organization. Dedicated, stylish, mature, cool.

Muhammad: Class Monitor, the spirited type. Ace scorer in English and Physics. A tennis player, artist and novice photographer.

THE NATIONAL UNITY ASSEMBLY & INTERGRATION FOR STUDENT LEADERS AND INTERNATIONAL INVITATIONS 2009 (RIMUP) *EPILOG*

The trip home was a long one.. I daydreamed about my days with Group I all the way to Terengganu.

TINGGI-TINGGI GUNUNG KINABALU,
TINGGI LAGI SAYANG SAMA KAMU,
BIRU-BIRU HUJUNG KINABALU,
TENGOK DARI JAUH,
HATI SAYA RINDU...

KINABALU DEKAT DI KUNDASANG,
BANYAK SAYUR BOLEH PILIH-PILIH,
APA GUNA PERGI LUAR NEGERI,
NAIK KINABALU,
HATI SAYA RINDU...

SUMANDAK-SUMANDAK PUN TURUT MENUNGGU,
MENARI-NARI LANGGANG SUMAZAU,
SEKALI MELIHAT MELEPAK KULITNYA,
SAYANG... JATUH CINTA...

SAYANG-SAYANG SAYANG KINABALU,
KAAMATAN PESTA BULAN LIMA,
MARI SAYANG KITA PERGI TAMU,
JALAN TAMPARULI, HATI SAYA RINDU...

The song that Recca taught me kept on replaying in my mind...
the Sumazau dance, everything...

I kept in touch with my friends... the next week was the school holidays... I texted Som Cai, Recca, Efa and the others... five days later, August 24th, I texted Efa as usual.

"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Just spending time with the one I love.." I replied.
"Who do you love?"
"you..."

There was a long pause...

"I LOVE YOU TOO..." she replied.

THE NATIONAL UNITY ASSEMBLY & INTERGRATION FOR STUDENT LEADERS AND INTERNATIONAL INVITATIONS 2009 (RIMUP) *FINAL DAY*

EVERYONE'S LEAVING
I felt miserable that morning. My friends, our time together just passed through my very eyes.. all I did was pray that time keeps us together, forever. I'm not able to write much for this day had our last meal together, I didn't pay much attention at what was going on around me. All I can remember is sitting next to Recca, I wanted more time to talk to her, more time to be with everyone.
And for once, I realised that I am getting fond of being a Malaysian. Living together harmoniously as one.

AS FOR NOW...
Goodbye may seem forever,
farewell is like the end.
But in my heart are memories,
and that's where we live on...

Everyone moved on to each contingents' bus to head back to our states.
"Cheer up, Efa," I said to Nurul Afifah, a groupmate of mine. "Everyone's crying but I don't think that it like there's no tomorrow.."
WHAM!!! Efa gave me a great punch right in the stomach..

Just as I was leaving, I saw it... The smile I've been waiting for from Efa since the very first day...
Sincerely waving goodbye, I waved back. The moment was...beautiful... picture perfect and I'm the only one to see it...

THE NATIONAL UNITY ASSEMBLY & INTERGRATION FOR STUDENT LEADERS AND INTERNATIONAL INVITATIONS 2009 (RIMUP) *DAY FOUR*

Day Four...
wow, it seems that time really flies....
the second last day of ths program, and I just got closer to befriend with people of differeent races, different religions and different cultures... I even made four best friends:
NES SANDRA RECCA
SOM CAI
ANG HAN CIN
AZFARSHAH
Twas fun being with them... every one held hands together wherever they go. akward at first, I just rode with the flow.. I somehow felt... nice.
First trip for the day, we went to the Islamic Centre of Johore.
Hj Muhammad Isa, some guy with a wierd sense of humor gave a talk on unity.

Later, we went to University Teknologi Malaysia.
and... another photo..

Well, we learned quite a few new things there,
soap making process, food process, beauty product making process, ah, just take a look...
hehe

soap!!

beauty products!!

food!!!
well of course, they do explian the processes....

Mr. Oui is very interested...
Afifah looks curious..

Sanketa can really pay attention..
Som Cai and I weren't really interested in the process, it was the food that matters.
we got free food samples!! A coconut energy bar..
One bar lasts a day. Really.

We headed on to the Persada Johore yet again that night. The Night of Appreciation for Unity and Arts.
Performers there were damn good. Dancers and martial artists all showed the image of their origins.

blurry, no, I wasn't drunk. Everything was going on so fast!!
In the end, many participants got up onto the stage to sing along a song. A special tribute to Michael Jackson@Mikhail Jackson. We all sang the song, Heal the World.......
That night, my group recieved an award. KUMPULAN YANG PALING BERWAWASAN
Hugs and cheers for everyone..
a memorable night that I will treasure forever.

THE NATIONAL UNITY ASSEMBLY & INTERGRATION FOR STUDENT LEADERS AND INTERNATIONAL INVITATIONS 2009 (RIMUP) *DAY THREE*

Though a little tired, I woke up for the third day activities...
Another Unity Aerobics event.... well this time the Johore Cabinet members where there.
And it was LIVE ON AIR!!! I'm famous!!

Yeah, I know... A LOT OF  PEOPLE

in a crowded place like that, I get to meet many new friends..
one of them was Kazuma Abe, a japanese transfer student.
After that, I was called upon to attend a rehearsal for that night's dinner with the Johore Government along with 13 others. I missed the next activity with my group. They went on to a house of the disabled. Looks like they had fun.

I met up with my group that afternoon where we went to a place named Taman Rumah Limas -or something like that...
It displayed different designs of kampung houses in Johore.
But the main attraction was when we were allowed to enter the Forbidden Orchid Garden there.

a place that is really worth going to

memories

later on that night, the Dinner With the Johore Government took place. You see, the reason I was called for rehearsal was that I represented my contingent from Terengganu to offer the Johore Chief Minister a token of appreciation and to recieve a gift of memory from him. I tried to look my best but then no one took any pictures of me then...
We were entertained by some performers from Sekolah Seni Johore Bahru. They were amazingly gorgeous and talented. Honestly.
And so that wraps up the day...
